When I finally made it uptairs around 2pm on Saturday after being out until 7:30am, my dad just laughs and hands me a plate of waffles. 2011 has been a rather fantastic year.
Emily Elizabeth. I have LIVED Alaska for going on two decades and have loved it intensely. This fall I am taking a break to see where else I might love and be content. I have a PLAN and it makes every problem meaningless and manageable. I WILL help and love others and still live my life so that I am fulfilled. I am READY.
I also love middle names, alliteration, and my brother.

More people in Oregon asked me about the northern lights than Sarah Palin when they heard I was from Alaska. There is hope.

The tests are done. The clothes are washed. The bags are packed. The booze is drank. The ice cream is gone. The trash is taken out. Time to go north!
